Asaad Morman is Co-Founder and CEO of Emerging Defense Solutions. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 5 years of military service, Asaad brings elite tactical discipline and real-world operational experience to every class. With 11+ years of federal service experience and a TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph clearance, he is a certified firearms instructor, personal protection specialist (armed), and martial arts practitioner who leads advanced firearms training, executive protection, and tactical defense programs at Emerging Defense Solutions. Asaad has trained 500+ professionals across government, law enforcement, and private sector organizations. His approach: disciplined, practical, and mission-focused.

Shauntze Morman is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Emerging Defense Solutions. A dedicated public safety professional with 20+ years in emergency communications, 911 dispatch, and life-saving training, Shauntze leads the CPR/BLS and Lifesaver programs at EDS. She is an American Heart Association Certified CPR Instructor and has served as a 911 Dispatcher for the DC Office of Unified Communications, Criminal Research Specialist with the Metropolitan Police Department, and Training & Organizational Development Specialist at the DC Office of Unified Communication. She is an APCO Communications Training Officer-Instructor and NENA Center Manager Certification Program graduate. Shauntze's mission is to empower every individual with the life-saving skills to act confidently in any emergency.
